Laid singly on spider's webs or other delicate tiHcad on the leaves or branches of il5 food plant. Body not very slen­ der; le gle5s segments elongated. Green, the ends, joint' ~ to S and 10 to 13 shaded with brown, anteriorly darkly !>haded e'pecially subdorsally, posteriorly lighter, faintly longi­ tuclinally lined , but "ithout distinct bands. Feet pale; tnbercles obsolete, i"etae fine 'hort and pale. Shields concolorous and ob,cure. Stag<' Ill. !l ead round, llattened before. not bilobed and free f1om joi11t z; whitish , densely mottled with pale brown, more spar,e ly about the c lypens; ocelli black; width t.l 111111. Body moder.l!e, cylindrical, uniform, translucent whitish green, green from the food, with irregular longitudinal ro\n ot" small white 'pecks; at the extremi­ ties faintly tinged with brown and the speck' become dark. Tracheal line 1·isible; spiracles narrowly black rimmed; tubercles smal l, white; setae 1·ery short, pale.
