Babitsky, - With reference to Section 2 Vibro-impact system, final paragraph: The incomplete sentence which reads “First, they can only be reached by means of a slow increase in frequency from initial value below lower than the one corresponding to; otherwise, the low amplitude linear mode without impacts (the lower solid branch of the curves) will be obtained.” Should read correctly as: “First, they can only be reached by means of a slow increase in frequency from initial value below lower than the one corresponding to the left vertical line; otherwise, the low amplitude linear mode without impacts (the lower solid branch of the curves) will be obtained.”
