5d gauge theories on orbifolds and 4d ’t Hooft line indices

We study indices for 5d gauge theories on S 1 × S 4 /ℤ n . In the large orbifold limit, n → ∞, we find evidence that the indices become 4d indices in the presence of a ’t Hooft line operator. We study the effect of adding lower dimensional brane charges to the ’t Hooft monopole, di-baryon and baryon vertex configurations in \( Ad{S_4} \times {\mathbb{P}^3} \).
