\(B_s\pi \) – \(B\bar{K}\) interactions in finite volume and X(5568)

The recent observation of X(5568) by the D0 Collaboration has aroused a lot of interest both theoretically and experimentally. In the present work, we first point out that X(5568) and \(D_{s0}^*(2317)\) cannot simultaneously be of molecular nature, from the perspective of heavy-quark symmetry and chiral symmetry, based on a previous study of the lattice QCD scattering lengths of...

The \(a_0(980)\) and \(\Lambda (1670)\) in the \(\Lambda ^+_c \rightarrow \pi ^+ \eta \Lambda \) decay

We propose to study the \(a_0(980)\) and the \(\Lambda (1670)\) resonances in the \(\Lambda ^+_c \rightarrow \pi ^+ \eta \Lambda \) decay via the final-state interactions of the \(\pi ^+ \eta \) and \(\eta \Lambda \) pairs. The weak interaction part proceeds through the c quark decay process: \(c(ud) \rightarrow (s + u + \bar{d})(ud)\), while the hadronization part takes place in...

Photo-production of tensor mesons

Assuming that the f2(1270), f′2(1525), a2(1320), and K*2(1430) resonances are dynamically generated states from the vector meson-vector meson interactions in L = 0 and spin 2, we study the γp → f2(1270)[f′2(1525)]p, γp → a02 (1320)p, and γp → K*2(1430)Λ(Σ) reactions. For the γp → f2(1270)p reaction, we find that the theoretical results for the differential cross sections are in...

Baryon chiral perturbation theory with Wilson fermions up to \({\mathcal {O}}(a^2)\) and discretization effects of latest \(n_f=2+1\) LQCD octet baryon masses

We construct the chiral Lagrangians relevant in studies of the ground-state octet baryon masses up to \({\mathcal {O}}(a^2)\) by taking into account discretization effects. We calculate the masses up to \({\mathcal {O}}(p^4)\) in the extended-on-mass-shell scheme. As an application, we study the latest \(n_f=2+1\) LQCD data on the ground-state octet baryon masses from the PACS-CS...

Predictions for pentaquark states of hidden charm molecular nature and comparison with experiment

Predictions for hidden charm molecules, with and without strangeness, were made prior to the LHCb experiment. We discuss these issues and how these states can be observed in the reactions, Λb → J/ψK−p, Λb → J/ψηΛ, Λb → J/ψπ−p, Λb → J/ψK0Λ and Ξ−b → J/ψK−Λ by looking at the invariant mass distributions for J/ψp or J/ψΛ.

Precision Spectroscopy of Deeply Bound Pionic Atoms and Partial Restoration of Chiral Symmetry in Medium

We study theoretically the formation spectra of deeply bound pionic atoms expected to be observed by experiments with high energy resolution at RIBF/RIKEN, and we discuss in detail the possibilities to extract new information on the pion properties at finite density from the observed spectra, which may provide information on partial restoration of chiral symmetry in medium. We...
