Role of the Total Isospin 3/2 Component in Three-Nucleon Reactions

We discuss the role of the three-nucleon isospin \(T=3/2\) amplitude in elastic neutron–deuteron scattering and in the deuteron breakup reaction. DN interaction from meson exchange

A model of the DN interaction is presented which is developed in close analogy to the meson-exchange \( \bar{{K}}\) N potential of the Jülich group utilizing SU(4) symmetry constraints. Scalar mesons in a finite volume

Using effective field theory methods, we discuss the extraction of the mass and width of the scalar mesons f 0(980) and a 0(980) from the finite-volume spectrum in lattice QCD. In particular, it is argued that the nature of these states can be studied by invoking twisted boundary conditions, as well as investigating the quark mass dependence of the spectrum.

Primakoff effect in \( \eta\) -photoproduction off protons

We analyse data on forward \( \eta\) -meson photoproduction off a proton target and extract the \( \eta\) \( \rightarrow\) \( \gamma\) \( \gamma\) decay width utilizing the Primakoff effect.
