A Note on the Estimation of Moxifloxacin in Bulk and Pharmaceutical Formulations by Precipitation Reagents

Simple spectrphotometric methods for the assay of moxifloxacin based on the formation of its complexes with alkaloidal precipitants are described.

Preparation and Antimicrobial Screeningof Cu (II), Ni (II), Zn (II) Cd (II) Complexes

The metal complexes of Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) Cd(II) with organic ligands viz Hydrazine hydrate, 1,2-N,N'-Bisammonium thiocarbamoyl ethane and 1,4-N,N'-Bisammonium thiocarbamoyl benzene have been prepared. These ligands and metal complexes of dithiocarbamates were screened for their antimicrobial activity against various microbs.

Preconcentration of Copper with Solid Phase Extraction and its Determination by Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometry

A new method for the solid phase extraction (SPE) and determination of copper ions at low levels is presented. Extraction percent and the effects of some factors were evaluated. The detection limit was in the range of 2.26 µg·L-1. This procedure has been successfully applied to determination of copper in water samples.
