Hepatic Hemangioma: An Unusual Cause of Fever of Unknown Origin

A patient with a giant cavernous hemangioma of the liver presented with fever of unknown origin. Extensive investigation revealed no other source of temperature. Following surgical resection of the Lesion the fever resolved. Pathology of the benign cavernous hemangioma showed only areas of thrombosis.

An Unusual Case of Monolobar Caroli’s Disease

A 27-year-old male with recurrent upper abdominal pain was found to have a suspicious mass in the right hepatic lobe. Right hepatectomy was performed. Pathological examination and further radiological evaluation proved this to be a focal form of Caroli’s disease.
