Corrigendum

Medical Mycology 1998, 36, 441 Accepted Corrigendum McCullough MJ, Clemons KV, Del Palacios A, Stevens DA. Epidemiology of Candida albicans isolates from heroin addicts analysed by DNA typing. Medical Mycology 1998: 36; 213–217. In this article, the third sentence of the Discussion contained an error, in that ‘IC14’ was written instead of ‘IC3’. The correct version is reproduced below. ‘This result is not only shown for the overall groupings of isolates, IA vs. IB vs. IC (Table 2), but also by the  1998 ISHAM fact that, of the nine RFLP subgroups which contain more than one isolate (IA6, IA20, IA21, IA34, IA35, IB6, IB14, IC1 and IC3), only three subgroups (IA35, IB6 and IB14) contained isolates from only one patient group (i.e. control vaginal isolates or isolates from heroin addicts) whereas the other six subgroups contained isolates from both patient populations (Table 1).’ (...truncated)
