Approximate Analytical Solutions of the Fractional Sharma-Tasso-Olver Equation Using Homotopy Analysis Method and a Comparison with Other Methods

In this paper, the homotopy analysis method (HAM) is successfully applied to the fractional Sharma-Tasso-Olver equation to obtain its approximate analytical solutions. Comparison of the obtained results with those of variational iteration method (VIM), Adomian’s decomposition method (ADM) and homotopy perturbation method (HPM) has led us to conclude that the method gives...

m-Generators of Fuzzy Dynamical Systems

In this paper we prove that the entropy of a fuzzy measure preserving transformation with respect to a sub-σ-algebra having finite atoms is affine and then we extend the method of computing the entropy of a finite sub-σ-algebra to a sub-σ-algebra having countable atoms, and we investigate the ergodic properties of fuzzy probability dynamical systems. At the end by using this...

Kress Smoothing Transformation for Weakly Singular Fredholm Integral Equations of Second Kind

The paper investigates a numerical method for the second kind Fredholm integral equation with weakly singular kernel k(x, y), in particular, when k(x, y) = ln |x−y|, and k(x, y) = |x − y| −α, −1 ≤ x, y ≤ 1, 0 < α < 1. The solutions of such equations may exhibit a singular behaviour in the neighbourhood of the endpoints x = ±1. We introduce a new smoothing transformation based on...

Topological Functors via Closure Operators

In this article for a given category X , we fully embed certain categories of closure operators on a given collection M ⊆ X1, in certain categories of preclass-valued lax presheaves on X . We then fully embed the just mentioned categories of preclass-valued lax presheaves on X , in certain categories of topological functors on X . Combining the full embeddings obtained, we...

On the Injectivity and Essential Extension of Dynamical Systems

Injectivity of dynamical systems and essential extension of any dynamical system are the most important notions in this paper. We prove the existence of injective extension for any dynamical system. Also we see that every dynamical system without any proper essential extension is injective.

New Representation of Quaternions Lie Group and SU(2)

In this paper the concept of outer product for R 4 is considered. By using this outer product a new product on R 5 is introduced. R 5 with this product and usual addition and scalar multiplication is an associative algebra. Via this algebra a new representation for quaternions as a Lie group is presented. Moreover a representation for SU(2) is deduced.

The Concept of Entropy on D-Posets

In this paper, partition and entropy of partitions in a D-poset are introduced and their properties are investigated. Also we introduce the conditional entropy and then we study some their results. At the end we define the entropy of a dynamical system, we prove some results on that, and we show its invariance.

İmge İçine Bilgi Gizlemede Kullanılan LSB Yöntemlerinin Karşılaştırması

Digital image steganography techniques deal with three subjects lossy/lossless compressed images, uncompressed images. Steganography techniques embed secret data pixel directly into uncompressed and lossless compressed cover images. The most popular data hiding method is, changing pixels’ left most digits or last two, known as Least Significant Bit (LSB). Lossless image formats...

MHD Mixed Convective Flow Past a Vertical Plate Embedded in a Porous Medium with Radiation Effects and Convective Boundary Condition Considering Chemical Reaction

The present paper examines the effect of thermal radiation on steady MHD mixed convection over a vertical plate with a convective boundary condition embedded in a porous medium. The effect of chemical reaction is also taken into account and hence a first-order chemical reaction is considered. Firstly, the governing equations of fluid have been written into a normalized form and...

In this study, the contribution of changing the metric designated for selecting the chromosomes in solution of optimization problems in a new evolutionary optimization algorithm which is called as the Recursive Two-Stage Evolutionary Programming is investigated. The performed metric change puts forward comparable results in the tested optimization problems with respect to the...

Numerical Solution of Differential Equations by Using Chebyshev Wavelet Collocation Method

In this article, a new method known as the Chebyshev wavelet collocation method is presented for the solution of second-order linear ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The method is based on the approximation of the truncated Chebyshev wavelet series. By using the Chebyshev collocation points, an algebraic equation system has been obtained and solved. Hence the implicit...

Transfer Ratio Improvement and Reduction of THF in the Matrix Converter based on the Novel Cascaded H-bridge Matrix Converter

The general function of a matrix converter is to conver AC supply to variable-voltage variable-frequency outputs. A new matrix is presented to reduce harmonic components in the output voltage. The transfer ratio has improved in the proposed converter. The structure of the proposed converter is identical to the cascaded H-bridge multilevel converter, but here the switches are bi...

Approximate Analytical Solution of the Damped Burgers and Boussinesq-Burgers Equations

In this paper, the Homotopy Analysis Method (HAM) is applied to the damped Burgers and Boussinesq-Burgers equations to obtain their approximate analytical solutions. The HAM solution includes an auxiliary parameter h¯ which provides a convenient way to adjust and control the convergence region of the solution series. An appropriate choice of the auxiliary parameter in the model...

Causally Simple Spacetimes and Domain Theory

Globally, hyperbolic spacetimes are the simplest kind of spacetimes which are studied in General Relativity. It is shown by Martin and Panangaden that it is possible to reconstruct globally hyperbolic spacetimes in a purely order theoretic manner using the causal relation J +. Indeed these spacetimes belong to a category that is equivalent to a special category of domains known...
