Entrepreneurs must have competitiveness to survive, Salah one strategy to increase
competitiveness by using the right marketing media by combining offline and
online marketing media. E-commerce has a positive and significant influence on
improving business performance (M. Z. Abidin, 2016). The purpose of this study is
to provide education to entrepreneurial students at Lamongan Islamic University
who are the samples in this study, to be able to optimize the use of E-Commerce
media as a marketing medium. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods
by utilizing secondary data derived from key informants, literature books, articles,
and homepages to access the latest data and information related to various analyzes
of increasing sales by optimizing the use of information technology based on Ecommerce. This research results that the use of information technology requires
strong support from all parties. Therefore it is necessary to optimize several
aspects which in this case are the variables discussed in the study. Socialization
and education, resources in the form of the availability of information technology
in the form of applications and materials used as support in marketing through ECommerce. The results of the study stated that 100% of entrepreneurs who are
members of the Unisla entrepreneurial community under the auspices of the
Business Incubator Center at the Islamic University of Lamongan have used ECommerce, namely social media Instagram and Marketplcae Tiktok and Shopee. It
is hoped that entrepreneurial students can do marketing optimally and understand
in the procedure for operating social media and marketplace so it's not just about
owning. Socialization and education need to be carried out continuously for
entrepreneurs to invigorate their trading spirit and be able to make better use of
information technology as a marketing medium after the covid19 pandemic (Baker
and Judge, 2020).

Introduction
During the Covid 19 2020 Pandemic, many entrepreneurs experienced a decline. The main
problem felt by these entrepreneurs is a decrease in turnover and some have even gone out of business
and laid off their employees or employees just to survive (Amalia, 2020). A survey conducted by the
International Labor Organization (ILO) on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on 571 Micro, Small
and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), on April 6-24 2020, the result was that 70% of MSMEs
experienced production stoppages due to Covid-19 (https: //katadata.co.id/news). Entrepreneurs are
vulnerable to business disruptions, as they often deal directly with the tourism, transportation and
culinary industries that require fast suppliers, all of which have been significantly impacted by
COVID-19 (OECD, 2020b). The impact of Covid 19 is felt and is a challenge for entrepreneurs to
survive. After the Covid-19 pandemic, entrepreneurs competed to get up and be productive and be
able to market their products so that they could become a support for the national economy and as the
backbone in driving the economy in our country dynamically (Pakpahan, 2020).
The development of the current rate of Information Technology provides enormous benefits and
makes it easier for people to conduct business transactions and communicate. Information Technology

plays a role in improving the quality of the community's economy. The pace of IT provides
development opportunities in the economic sector and increases social interaction in a more advanced
direction through the technology offered and provides opportunities for all parties to be able to share
information and knowledge with each other (Ibrahim and Melhem, 2016).
The e-commerce market creates broad market opportunities for retailers and logistics service
providers, can increase purchase and sales satisfaction and can facilitate the ability of logistics service
providers to manage larger scale (Leung, Lee and Choy, 2020). Through e-commerce, business people
can be helped, especially in terms of marketing and sales.

The purpose of this study is to provide education to entrepreneurial students, especially the
student entrepreneurial community at Lamongan Islamic University who are samples in the study, so
they can optimize the use of E-Commerce media as a marketing medium, besides that the benefits of
this research are to provide an overview to entrepreneurs. to be able to bounce back and survive after
the pandemic, and be able to sell their products not only offline, but also be able to sell their products
online, one of which is by using E-Commerce media.

Method
Research analyzes the increase in sales of student entrepreneurs by optimizing the use of
information media based on E-Commerce. Based on the research method used, this type of research is
qualitative research. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method by utilizing secondary data
derived from various literature such as books, articles, and homepages to access the latest data and
information related to various analyzes about optimizing the use of e-commerce-based information
media (Argilés-Bosch, Ravenda and Garcia-Blandón, 2021) . Qualitative descriptive research is a
research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of speech or writing and the behavior of
