Courageous Cuentos Doña Auza By Alex Godinez My school is mainly a white except for my Spanish class. I remember coming into class for the first time and seeing people my color. Before this class I felt really bad, I felt as if I was less than the kids. All these white kids would look at me like they’ve never seen a brown person before. My teacher Ms. Auza is super sweet. She’s so accepting and kind. She doesn’t know this, but she is my favorite teacher. She’s my favorite teacher because she’s funny and actually cares about us. On my first day here, I remember not feeling my best because of all of the dirty looks by all the white kids but once I got to 4th, I felt kind of relieved to see some of my friends. 15 (...truncated)
